Diana B. Moss

Diana B. Allen Moss was born November 10, 1943 and departed this life on September 11, 2019. Diana was a graduate of East High School, class of 1960. She attended The Ohio State University and received her BS degree from Ohio Dominican University and her MS degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Diana was a dedicated teacher in Columbus City Schools for 35 years and taught at several elementary and middle schools. She also was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Diana enjoyed crocheting, traveling and watching her favorite teams, the Bengals. She loved to entertain friends and family, loved her animals and loved to cook. Diana was the coordinator for the 50th and 53rd class reunions of the class of 1960 and they both were a great success. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately called “Gam Gam”.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ada L. and Edward Allen and uncle Richard E. Allen.

She is survived by son, Jonathan (LaTonya) Beverly; daughter, Tracey Beverly Hawkins; grandchildren, Janae (Chavis) Beverly Wilson, Trashawnda McClendon, Jonathan (Jakki) Beverly II, Jada Beverly, Mikael Pugh, Jessica Scott, Timetriana Smith, and James Oliver; many greatgrandchildren; mother-in-law Margaret Croner; special friends Jerry Harris, Barbara Cookie Greene, Milton Green, Soly Long, Arjun Long, Joe Parrish, Barbara Sims; and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 5:30pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:00pm. The Delta Sorority Memorial Service will begin at 6:00pm at the Chapel of White's. Arrangements by WHITE’S FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 867 S.
