Don Ralls

Don Amerson Ralls was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky November 19th, 1949 to Mary Jewel (Morgan) and Robert Ralls. He passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 at the age of 69. Don moved to Columbus, Ohio at an early age and met the love of his life, Sharon Renee’ Carroll. They were married June 26th, 1969, beginning a partnership lasting 50 years. Their union was blessed with four uniquely special children, David, Tony, Sherri, and JeJuana.

He graduated East High School in 1967 and went on to put himself through school becoming a Foreman Residential Wireman. Don was a 30-year member of IBEW Local #683. Our patriarch was a loving and giving man who enjoyed being with his family. He especially adored his two-year-old granddaughter Skylar, who affectionately called him “Papa”. Don was an avid sports fan with an unwavering love for his Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jewel and Robert Ralls, loving nieces Ebony Carroll and Meisha Goods, cousin Robert Samuel McKee and Rita Kay McKee. He will forever be esteemed and cherished in the hearts of adoring wife Sharon Renee’;children David (Cherrie), Tony, Sherry, and JeJuana; beloved grandchildren Jamel Ralls and Skylar Ralls; sister Patricia “Tish” (Clarence) Shields; sisters-in-law Pamela G. Carroll, Stacy D. Carroll; Aunt Nora (Ralls) Burroughs; doting niece Lisa Ralls; nephew's John Rawls, Kevin Shields, Jaylen Carroll,  ​Kahlil and Jalil Hunter; special cousin Ollie Mae (McKee) Rogers, devoted friend Clyde Reynolds; and a host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at White's Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
