Fred Eugene Richards

Fred Eugene Richards was born on April 15, 1966 to Linda Carol Richards and Willie Goodwin in Columbus, Ohio. Fred was educated in Columbus, Ohio and attended Centennial High School. Fred LOVED his family and friends and staying in touch with EVERYBODY. Fred worked at Max and Erma’s and Abbott Foods while living in Ohio. Fred moved to Atlanta in 1996 and worked for Sysco Foods as a truck driver. In 2009 Fred “met the LOVE of his life”, Cynthia Smith and they became ONE in marriage. Fred loved to travel and stayed connected with his entire family. Fred also going to various motorcycle activities. Fred NEVER met a stranger and would help anyone he could.

Fred had a heart of GOLD. Fred is preceded in death by his Mother, Linda Carol Richards-Ratcliff; grandmother, Lillian Etta Suber; grandfather, Albert Richards Sr.; uncles, William Richards, Albert Richards; aunt, Peggy Scales and special cousin Carmilla Stallings.

Fred is survived by his loving wife Cynthia; children, Frederick, LaKiesha, Deonta and Alexis; four step children and a host of grandchildren; brother Kevin Richards; sisters, Margaret (Pebbles), Rhonda, Marie and Terry; great uncle Fred D. (Sherlyn) McCoy; great aunt Margaret McCoy; special aunts: Cynthia Stallings, Sadie Richards, Dorothy Richards and ethel Richards-Sheldon; uncles, Kelly Richards and Jerry Richards; father-in-law Larry Curtis; brothers-in-law Ricky (Missy) Smith and Raphael Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
