John Ed Robertson, October 11, 1934 – September 29, 2019
It all began in Promise Land, TN, born and raised. John attended Promise Land School system, and was a graduate of Hampton High School, Dickson, TN.
Pots n Pans, Chilly or Mr. Fish, they were one in the same; He was “John”. You knew exactly who he was. Entrepreneur extraordinaire, you name it he would and could sale it.
John never met a stranger and would hold a conversation with a tree if he thought it would talk back. He held a special bond with children, they would gravitate to him because of his playful nature and it could be because they were the same size.
A faithful member of Jehovah’s Witness for many years, and was a member of the US Army services for 4 years. His work history consisted of Kroger bakery, Columbus City Schools, co-owner of Frazier’s Fish and owned Mr. Fish just to name a few.
To know him was to love him, always the life of the party, his zest for life was evident with his famous dance moves and his natural comedian antics, the likes of which are carried on through the legacy he leaves behind.
