Keith Allen Randolph passed peacefully at Ohio State University's Ross Heart Hospital on Friday, August 16th, 2019 at the age of 68. He was born on November 22, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late, Carlton and Elizabeth Randolph.
Growing up he attended St. Philip's Episcopal Church where he served as a Boy Scout and Acolyte.
He started work at Doctors Hospital North in the lab in 1969, where Henry Reed trained him in radioisotopes (Nuclear Medicine) and to be a phlebotomist. He continued to work as a Lab Assistant at Doctors North and West as well as Lab Outreach Clinics, like Ohio Health Center, or wherever he was needed. During that time he coached the Doctors Hospital Girls Softball team. At the end of his career, he worked for the Veteran’s Administration Clinic in Columbus.
Keith graduated from Ohio State Barber and Styling College and worked part time at Shelby’s Barber Shop. He also started his own photography business called KR Photoworks, taking wedding pictures, school portraits, and sports events.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carlton L. Randolph, mother, Elizabeth J. Randolph, brother, Carlton L. Randolph Jr, and brother, Larry Randolph.
Keith is survived by his sons, Brian and Ryan Randolph, adopted daughter, Kim Broadnax, grandson, Brian Keith Randolph II, sister, Pamela (Benjamin) Morris, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family, and special life-long friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled on Thursday, August 29, 2019, 2:00p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 720 Mt. Vernon Ave, Columbus, OH 43203. Reverend Otha Gilyard and Reverend Benjamin Morris will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Keith's life. Arrangements by WHITE’S FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 867 S.
