Kevin D. Constant, Jr.

Kevin Darnell Constant Jr. was born on September 28, 1993 in Columbus, Ohio to Denise Harris and Kevin Constant Sr. Affectionately called “ Mookie” by his family and friends. Kevin was the third of five children.

Kevin “Mookie” Constant attended Columbus City Schools, where he went to both Linden McKinley and Whetstone High School. He enjoyed football but his favorite sport was basketball. As a teenager Mookie would love to go to the recreation centers and play basketball, one of his favorite teams was the Chicago Bulls. One of Mookie’s dreams was to take a trip to Chicago with Hendrae. Although Kevin loved sports, traveling to his favorite place Myrtle Beach & playing his Xbox One, he loved his daughters Khiliyah, Kaydence, Myah & Kehlani more than anything in this world.

He was a devoted father, son and brother. Kevin would always drop by his mother’s house and make him a bowl of peanut butter Captain Crunch cereal, so she would always keep a box for him because she never knew when he would stop by. And anytime there was a family gathering Mookie would always call and say “ Who all there”. Kevin Darnell Constant Jr. will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Late in the evening on October 11th, 2019 at age 26, Kevin Darnell Constant Jr. was called home unexpectedly. 

Kevin is preceded in death by his grandmothers Phyllis Constant, Delvina Harris, and grandfather Herman Williams. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, father Kevin Constant Sr, mother Denise Harris (Hendrae), Daughters Khiliyah, Kaydence, Myah & Kehlani; loving girlfriend Teushanna Twyman; Brother Shawntajz Harris; sisters Delvina Harris, Daziray Constant (his favorite), Tamara Harris and Jahkia Constant; Great aunts Rita Constant Green & Deborah Stockton; Nieces Skylar and Dezire. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family & friends.

The family circle has been broken, So we will lift up our eyes unto the hills…. For our help comes from the Lord.
