Patricia A Smith

Patricia A. Smith, age 65, was born April 28, 1953 in Dayton Ohio. We were blessed to have our beautiful mother that loved us dearly. She was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2016 and went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2019 at 9:05pm. She was the kind of mother that lived for her children and grandchildren, as well as anyone who needed her. She was loved and is missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Pat Smith was a graduate of Roth High School in 1971. She was a member of New Song Ministries in Cincinnati, Ohio under Pastor G Allen Johnson and 1st Lady Gail Johnson where she served on the praise team and as a participant on the travel dance ministry called Spiritual Movement.

She worked 24 years with Ohio Operating Engineering Local 18 were she was certified as a Fork lift Operator, as well as achieving certifications in Signal and Osha Training. Although she retired in 2015, Pat missed the job she loved where she was so proud of being a heavy equipment operator. If anyone was with her, she could not help pointing out the different machines, telling you what job each one did, and how she was able to operate each one.

Patricia was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Cousin. Her smile could lighten any room, and she was a devoted praise and worshipper. While in church praising and worshipping, she got up and danced like no one else. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Norman Crowder Sr. and Beulah M. Blount and one sibling Karl Crowder.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Andre Foster, one son Kenneth (Carmen) Smith, one daughter LaShonda (William) Stringer, one step daughter Andrea Foster and two step sons Drequan Foster and Austin Foster. She had six siblings Phyllis Crowder, Ellis (Deborah) Smith, Greg (Evelyn) Smith, Norman (Teresa) Crowder, Kenny (Sharon) Crowder, Donzalay (Charles) Brooks. She had five grandchildren Lacey, Kayla, Lauren, Kennedy, Kenneth Jr, Step mother Marie Crowder and Step Sister Lasandra Curlett, Beloved friends Michelle Stallings and Millossa Munlin and a host nieces, nephews and cousins.
