Ronald Bess was born April 19, 1951 to the late Preston and Elmira Bess in Middletown, Ohio. He departed this life November 12, 2018, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties in Franklin, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Charles Michael Bess, John Preston Bess, Danny Bess, Ricky Allen Bess, William Darryl Bess and sister, Mary Louise Bass.
Ronald graduated from Middletown High School and worked at Armco for some years. Ronald attended Bethlehem Temple when he could get there with even calling for rides to attend. Ronald took great pride in decorating for Christmas, Easter and planting flowers outside. He also loved playing his guitar and listening to gospel, jazz and rhythm and blues. He also loved family gatherings.
Ronald was a loving father who loved his family, children and grandchildren. Ralo was a factitious name that he called himself and allowed us to call him humorously. He had a way of keeping everyone laughing. He had his own style of dressing that he loved to be different. We will miss his facial expressions, smile, and laughter. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his home going, two devoted sons; Myron Lamont (April) Bess and Ronald Bess II (Monica), five granddaughters; Zenobia, A'mya, Breyanna, Malea, and Rylee, one grandson, Javon all of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters; Ann Bess of Dayton, Ohio, Janice (Edward) Lyle of Middletown, Ohio; Marsha (Donald) Hart of Monroe, Ohio, Debra Jo Myles of Detroit, Michigan, along with host nieces and nephews, relatives and a very special friend Hazel Mack who he called Mom.
