Stacy Denise Sydnor

Stacy transitioned unexpectedly at Mt. Carmel East hospital on June 8, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones as she took her last breath. Stacy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and attended Linden McKinley High School where she especially enjoyed the lunch and left afterwards.

Stacy was carefree, always smiling and laughing unless you got on her bad side. Stacy loved swimming and dancing when she was younger. Stacy recently found a love for caring for others and worked as a Home Health aide for Bono Home Health. Stacy loved her children, but her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Stacy is preceded in death by her father Joe Barns, brother Michael Sydnor and sister Tennelle Griffen.

Stacy is survived by her four children Shawn Sydnor, Shapara Sydnor, Alexis Smith and Anton Sydnor; six grandchildren, Rasheed Brock Jr, Shawn Sydnor Jr., Jaceion Sydnor, Gorgeous Sydnor, Kyrell Coleman, Mauricio Wade; mother, Barbara Sydnor; siblings Serena Sydnor, twin brother Stanley Sydnor, Stephan Parks, Stephanie (Leonard) Farquharson, brother Michael Griffin and sister Eugena Griffen; aunts, Deborah Ballard, Linda (Richard) Boshon, Renita Sydnor, Rebecca Sydnor, Paula (Marcus) Hall; uncle Russel Sydnor; special friends Tequila Johnston, Candi Fisher, Trena Harrison and Ned Davis; and a host of cousins and friends.
