William Shade, Sr.

William Shade went into the arms of our heavenly father on July 6, 2019. He was born on November 8, 1926 in Vian, Oklahoma to the late Willie D. Shade and Alma Shade. He retired from the US Army and worked for DCSC in Whitehall till his retirement. He was a deacon with the New Prospect Primitive Baptist Church in Buena Vista, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie; daughter Cynthia Shade; and son James Shade. Left to cherish his precious memories are his sons Wayne, William (Mary), Robert; daughters Sharon and Lisa; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Alicia, Mary and all VA staff and caregiver and hospice staff.

Family will receive friends Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10am until time of service at 11am at the Chapel of White's.
