Ada Virginia Dorsey (1929 - 2024) transitioned to eternity Friday, February 16, 2024 at Harrison on 5th Memory Care.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul AME Church, 639 E. Long Street, Columbus, OH 43215

Elks Service at 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life will start at 11:30 a.m.

Ada V. Dorsey, age 94, transitioned to eternity on February 16, 2024 at Harrison on 5th Memory Care surrounded by family and friends.

Ada was born October 12, 1929 in Grafton, West Virginia to Harry and Carrie Harvey.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Carrie Harvey; Husband, John Dorsey; son, William Warren; and brother, William Harvey. 

She is survived by special cousins/caretakers, Roger Lewis, William (Josephine) Link. Close friends, Helmar Jackson and Sue Jackson; also a host of cousins, family and friends. 

Ada was a joy and delightful, and overall wonderful person to be around.  Her presence would light and fill up a room with her smile and laughter, and all around personality.  She would always be willing to lend a helping hand and excellent advice.

She will be sadly missed by those who were close to her; and even if they were just an acquaintance.  She will be truly missed by us all.
