Amanda Marie Reyes, transitioned June 3, 2022. Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at White's Chapel. Interment: Glen Rest Memorial Estate.

On Friday, June 3, 2022, Amanda Marie Reyes, loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter and cousin, passed away at the age of 33. 

Amanda Marie Reyes, also known as Mina was born in Brooklyn, New York to father Jorge Reyes and mother Lisa Vargas. She grew up in Brooklyn and later moved to Ohio with her father and three sisters, Jeanette, Jillian and Janell. That is where she met Roisten Ward and from 2008-2022 they raised five beautiful children, Armante, Roisten II, Amanda Faith, Ra’Mere and Arvell Ward.

Amanda had a passion for singing and dancing. SHe loved writing her own songs, raps and making up her own dances. She was known for her beautiful smile and outgoing personality. Amanda was strong and she was brave. From a young age she loved and cared for her three sisters. She was beautiful and talented, smart and determined. There was nothing she couldn’t do. She loved her kids and nephew Mi’Aire more than anything in the world. 

Amanda is preceded in death by her mother Lisa Vargas and grandmother Gloria Vargas. She is survived by her five children Armante, Roisten II, Amanda Faith, Ra’Mere and Arvell Ward, her father Jorge Reyes; nephew Mi’Aire Reyes; and sisters Jeanette, Jillian and Janelle Reyes.
