Antone lived a life full of purpose, compassion, and unwavering strength. On September 3, 2005, he married his beloved wife, Linda D Evans, and together they shared 20 years of love, partnership, and cherished memories.
Antone was known for his generosity, strong work ethic, passion for life, and unmistakable voice. A highly competitive track star in high school, he carried that same drive throughout his life. He loved fishing, learning about the stock market, cars, and spending time with friends. He also found joy in family traditions and being actively involved in his community.
Professionally, Antone proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later became a police officer in Bellaire, Ohio, before building a long and respected career as an operations manager with UPS where he ultimately retired. His dedication and integrity earned him the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike.
Antone's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda; his brother, Samuel Evans (Sheila); his son, Christopher Evans; his stepdaughter, Francesca Pennymon; and his stepson, Shannon D. Moorer. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and loving host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Each of them will continue to honor his legacy by carrying forward the integrity, honesty, and steadfast work ethic he lived by and instilled in all who knew him. He vas preceded in death by his parents, Elijah James and Alfonsi Evans; his daughter Tamiko Evans; and his grandson Anthony Johnson.
