Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Woodland Christian Church, 143 Woodland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43203. Interment: Evergreen Burial Park.
Arliss Frederick White, Sr. was born November 11, 1935. He worked and retired from the City of Columbus Sanitation Department for 35 years.
He was an active member of Saints Marks Lodge and a captain of the Turba Club.
Mr. White was a deacon of the Woodland Christian Church. He was well known for his special barbeque sauce and ribs.
He was married for 67 years to Anna G. White.
He leaves behind to cherish his beautiful wife, Anna White; sons Arliss F. White, Jr. and William B. White; daughter Margretta Taylor; three grandchildren Damien White, Tanisha Russell and William White, Jr.; six great grandchildren; brother Kenneth S. Waren and a host of other family and friends.
He went on to see his King January 26, 2024. Rest in Peace
