Asia Lynn Harris (Whoodie) of Columbus, Ohio passed away at the young age of 36 on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born on August 6, 1988, in Columbus, she was the youngest daughter of both parents. She was a proud alumna of Whetstone High School.                                         

Asia’s life was marked by her vibrant and infectious spirit. She would capture a frown and turn it upside down; she was one to make you laugh. Asia LOVED her family and was always excited about family gatherings. She was sweet, funny, and joyous. She knew no stranger; everyone was family. She’d meet you today and depending on your age you’ll be her cousin, uncle, or aunty by tomorrow. Asia had a love for dancing, singing, food, and music. Her fondness was in listening & watching 90s R&B music videos, talking on her phone, and eating African cuisine. Asia shared a contagious laugh and brought forth a heart of gold. She was always ready to lend a hand or share a story. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

Asia’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She leaves behind her sisters: Lasheba (David) Cooper, Michelle Watters, and Toni Stewart. Brothers: Jason Stewart and Quincey Harris. Special friend Stephan Roberts and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Asia was preceded in death by her parents Anthony (Tony) Pearson and Joy Harris. Brother Lamont Stewart.
