Bobby James Banks was born to John Thomas Banks and Annie Bland Banks on March 21, 1942. He had eight brothers and three sisters.
Bobby was a loving Father who loved his family very much. He was loved by many people. He worked for the City for 15 years. One of his hobbies was collecting cars. His favorite food was chicken. Bobby was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and always attended church. He was a loving kind and very good person. His favorite brother was Troy Banks and his favorite sister was Thelma Banks-Davis.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents John Thomas Banks and Annie Bland Banks, wife Nancy Juanita Woodson, and brothers Robert Banks, Clarence Banks, Johnny Banks.
Bobby James Banks leaves in God’s care two daughters, one son, and one step-daughter. Son, A. Banks – Benfield (Anneka), 2 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; daughter Cynthia N. Banks-Cooper (Keith) 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; Bobby James Banks Jr. (Sherbra) one grandchild and one great grandchild; Venetta Morgan (step-daughter) 5 step grandchildren and one step great grandchild; siblings Jessie Banks of Springfield, Ohio, Troy Banks of Columbus, Ohio, Lewis Banks of Omaha, Nebraska, Thelma Banks-Davis of Columbus, Ohio, Benny Banks of Gainsville, Georgia, Grace Banks-Martin of Long Beach, California and Annie Banks of Atlanta, Georgia.
Bobby passed away June 24, 2020.
