Calling hours Friday, June 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Private family service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Services will be livestreamed and the family will receive flowers at the funeral home.
Charles L. O'Bannon Jr. was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on September 21, 1952 to Charles and Teruko O'Bannon. He was the second eldest child of five siblings. He served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. His job career covered a span of employment mainly in the areas of the construction industry, school bus driver for the City of Columbus, and City of Columbus Street Maintenance. His hobbies included playing chess, dominoes, and pool. He enjoyed the benefit of growing up in a close knit family that was fostered from an environment of love from his parents and siblings. He had a close, loving and special bond with his daughter Dawn and granddaughter Kel'Liyah. Charles had a warm, kind spirit and a generous heart. To know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Teruko O'Bannon, brother, Kiyoshi O'Bannon, sister, Jeanette Porter. He leaves to cherish his memories his
wife, Pam Jackson-O'Bannon, children, Dawn Wallace-O'Bannon, Twana Yuille, Shannon, Teruko O'Bannon, Monique O'Bannon, granddaughter, Kel'Liyah Wallace-O'Bannon-Brown, sister, Jeannice Parrott (Steven Sr.), brother, Tyrone O'Bannon(Sherry), seven stepchildren and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
