Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227.

Chelsea Hinton also known as Muff was born March 6th, 1978 in Columbus, Ohio to Lejeune Hinton and Charles Smalls. Chelsea was 46 years when she was called back to the heavenly kingdom. She was a remarkable mother to her 6 children Antonio, Shaneya, De’India, Devontey, Denise and Destiny. Not only was Chelsea a phenomenal mother, but she was also a loving grandmother to Antonio, Iyon, Amiyah, and Major.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lejeune Hinton and brothers Albert Crawford and Darcy Jones Jr “Boo Bear”.  Sister Dawn Hinton-Mckee and her maternal grandmother Harriette D. Caldwell and grandfather Lejeune Hinton.

Sister to many, Chelsea is succeeded in death by maternal brothers and sisters Lavelle Crawford, Rashawn Hinton, Shannon Hinton, and Ryan Fox. 

Chelsea lived her life to the fullest, she was a ray of sunshine. You’d always see her on the move. She created beautiful moments with family, friends, and strangers. She was truly unforgettable! Chelsea loved seeing people happy and well taken care of, she was a hero. Most importantly, she loved making people feel loved. Chelsea wasn’t only a giver; she was a well-educated woman. She loved writing poems and gaining information from not only the young but also old, while remaining teachable. She was full of knowledge; she’d have an answer to anything you needed to know. Chelsea was an amazing speaker; she spoke so much life into the people around her. She will truly be missed.
