Claude Peak was born July 24, 1938 to the late Robertson Peak and Mamie Mills in Hendersonville, North Carolina. When Claude was 18, he moved to Columbus, Ohio.
During a relationship, Claude had a daughter, Cheryl Watters. He then met and married Brenda Crews. From this union one son was born, Claude Brandon.
Claude was an accomplished employee of Franklin County Juvenile Center and the City of Columbus Sanitation Department for 28 years, retiring in May, 1992.
The afternoon of Friday, April 23, 2021 Claude answered his call to his eternal home. He was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and the eldest grandson Jermar Watters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 52 years, Brenda Peak. His only son Brandon (Kristina) Peak; grandchildren, Brandon, Asia, Micah and Nicholas; only daughter, Cheryl Watters; grandchildren Jowanna, Jahonesty; seven great grandchildren Delaney Jr., Jamiyah, Saniyah, Brandon, Nyla and Kalayah; eight sisters, four brothers and a host of family and friends.
