Clifton James Houpe IV affectionally known as “Jimmy” age 72, was born in Columbus, Ohio July 6, 1948. He went home to be with the Lord on Friday November 27, 2020.

Clifton retired from Kroger Stores in Worthington, Ohio and was a member of the Nation of Islam who held a position as a Lieutenant for 5 years. He enjoyed his family, and friends which always came to his home to spend quality time.

Clifton is preceded in death by parents Clifton Houpe Sr. and Mary E. Harris, Grandma Myrtle Hamilton, stepfather Robert E. Harris, Son Clifton Houpe Jr. Granddaughter Kierra Shaniece Houpe, Brother Dennis L. Broadnax (Debbie Broadnax) Brother Richard Devon Houpe, (Faye Houpe) Brother Reggie Houpe.

Survived by his devoted wife Joanne Houpe with five children: Charnetta Houpe Glenn (Eric Glenn) Tina Houpe, Jolynn Houpe Bozeman (Andre Bozeman) Shariene X Houpe; Siblings: Brother Rod Houpe (Cassandra Houpe) Sister Jewel Harris. Grandchildren: Shawnee (Scott) GinoVanelli, Elijah, Sharda, Tiaira, Rahmel, Charles Jr., Charles III, Gerald, Shamita, Eddie, Ebony, Sareina, Shaquille, Hahkeem, and Koby. Great-grandchildren: Imani, Skylar, Madison, Kalayah, Jahmi, Jaylin, Jayden, Kayden, Kaevion, Ermias, and a host of other relatives, friends, family, and special friend Michael Bell (Elaine Bell).
