Family will receive friends Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services. 

Corey Divers, born on April 24, 1990, at Ohio State University Hospital, departed this life far too soon on June 7, 2025. His passing was sudden and tragic, leaving a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We take comfort in knowing that Corey is now resting in the eternal arms of our Heavenly Father.

Corey grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and attended both Columbus Public Schools and Whitehall City Schools, where he proudly played football for several years. He was known for his strong spirit, independent nature, and a deep well of compassion that touched everyone around him.

A proud dog lover, Corey had a special place in his heart for pit bulls. His passion for animals was matched only by his love for classic cars—he was a true enthusiast of vintage models, always drawn to their history and beauty.

Those who knew Corey will remember him as a funny, carefree soul whose laughter was infectious. He was fiercely loyal, a protector of those he loved, and someone who never hesitated to stand strong for his family and friends. His presence lit up every room, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Corey was proceeded in death by his grandmother Debra Wingfield.

He is survived in death by his loving and faithful wife, Talyia Divers, his parents Shallina Divers and Corey (Tamika) Pittman, his grandmother Rev. Walda Johnson, Favorite uncle/friend Percy ”Manny”Rose, his siblings Curtis Divers, Aubrae Walker, Lawon Hamilton, Wesley Cawthon, Christopher Divers, Iemanni Walker, Cailyn Pittman, Quinton Pittman, Torey Pittman, Teron Pittman and Chase Divers and honorary brother Alon McGraw.

Also, his beautiful children, Aiden Caleah, Ca’Miyah, Gabriell, Dreamii, Journee, Corey Jr., Caniece, Jayden, Myzon and Elijahjuan.

A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close family and friends.

Corey Divers leaves behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy of love, strength, and joy. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.
