Family will receive friends Friday July 11, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Church of God In Christ, 4345 Cleveland Avenue Columbus, OH 43224. Interment: Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. 

Danny Everett was born on April 21, 1952, to Samuel and Charlotte Everett (Craig) in Chicago, Ill.  He attended both Cooley and Waller High Schools. He was the youngest child out of 5 brothers and 6 sisters.              

Danny met Toni Everett (Watkins) in 1968 and married in 1972.  Through this union they had three children, Dione, Tiffany and Danny Everett Jr (Jay-R). 

Danny was saved at the wedding reception of Jospeh and Brenda Allen with the help of his Aunt Christine Barrett and Aunt Mary Hayes. He became a deacon in Chicago Heights, Ill at First Church COGIC under leadership of Bishop Robert L Sanders. 

He moved to Columbus, OH in 1977 with his family joining him in 1978. Danny worked with Columbus City Schools as a Bus Driver for over 33 years.

Danny became a member of Mt Sinai COGIC (later known as The New Mt Sinai) in 1977 hitting the ground running. He sang in the choir, drove the church van, visited the sick, cleaned the church, helped to organize trips, and worked on the video camera, until he was unable to due to Parkinsons.

Danny is proceeded in death by his parents Samuel and Charlotte Everett, Brothers Harvey Brunner, Stanford Everett, Timothy Everett, Samuel Everett, Michael Everett and sisters Geraldine Bennett, Zelma Miles, Delores Ali, Gloria Carter, and Bridgett Travis. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years Toni, daughters Dione and Tiffany, son Danny Everett Jr, grandchildren De’Von (Veronica) Crawford, Nyla Crawford, Taryn, Danye’, Taylor, Autumn, Angela, and Avery Everett, sister Essie Mae Taylor of Coffeeville, KS and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
