Darlene Loretta Finney, 66, of Columbus, Ohio, peacefully passed away on January 6, 2026. She was born on April 18, 1959, and is now reunited with her loved ones who preceded her in death: her grandmother, Janie Murrell; grandfather, James Finney; mother, Judith Jones; brother, Frederick Steward III; aunts, Victoria Finney and Marlyn Finney; and uncle, John Murrell. Darlene was a kind and loving woman whose warmth and generosity touched all who knew her. She dedicated many years of her life to working at Honda, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment, until an accident made it impossible for her to continue. She will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, her love for family, and the joy she brought to those around her.

She is survived by her loving sister, Marcia Todd; her niece, India Todd; and her nephews, Rashod Todd, Frederick Steward IV, and Julian Steward. Special Aunts, Hazel Finney and Dasenia “Penny” M. Murrell. She also leaves a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
