David Lamonte Wharton, age 32, was born on July 23,1986 in Columbus, Ohio. David passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2019. He was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School and a former employee of Buckeye Steel.
Preceded in death by grandmother, Thelma Banks; grandfather George Banks; uncle Ronald Banks; cousin Michael Fowler; brother John Wharton.
David was a loving, caring and respectful young man. He could always be seen smiling. He loved joking around with his friends. He was a man that loved and cared about his family. He had a wonderful personality. He was a quiet and humble family man who loved life to the fullest. He adored his mother, children, siblings and family. His children were the love of his life. He was a great father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with his children and family. David was a gentle and caring man and will be deeply missed.

Wharton is survived and cherished by his mother; Tonya Banks; father, David Wharton, children; David, Kiera, Dominick, Sydney, brothers; William Alls, Zion Mitchell, sisters; Joy Wharton and Adama Dijgo, uncles; Robert and Shawn Banks. Aunt; Monique Busby, favorite Aunt Deshon Murphy. Girlfriend; Tiffany Cotton. A host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
