OBITUARY for DENISE (NEECEE) LYNNE FUNDERBURKE

BORN 11/25/1966   DEATH 07/04/2021

Denise died after complications from a stroke. She fought to the very end but it was God’s will for her to move on to the next life…eternal life with Him.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Henry E. Funderburke (1981) and her Nephew, Alonte` E. Martin (2018).

Denise is a graduate of Oliver High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Denise worked for Yellow Cab of Columbus for 8 years being one of the only female drivers. She was committed to her clients and to her job as a driver. She put their needs in front of her own at times.

Michele:  Denise was my best friend, my sister, my confidant…Denise loved spending time with her family and she loved all of us so deeply. She was loyal to each and every one of us. She was everyone’s best friend and she would do anything for anyone, including giving her last to help her loved ones in times of need. Denise was the center of our lives and our lives will be truly changed without her here with us. Her heart was made of gold and she shined every time she smiled. She felt everyone’s pain as if it was her own pain and suffering…She will be dearly missed.

Survived by: Son, Andre` Funderburke (Samantha {wife} and Leanara {granddaughter}), Daughter, Aishia Funderburke (Alex {partner}), Mother, Sandra Wagner (James {husband}), Sister, Michele Funderburke-Martin, Brother, Brian Funderburke, Nephew, Anthony Funderburke, Neice, Arianna Powell (Maverick{son}, Mason {son} and Aniyah {daughter}, Neice, Alaina Martin (Alantis {daughter}), Neice, Annellisia Martin (JayJay {son} and Gian {son}), Neice-in-Law, Kaileigh Smith {Alonte` Martin) (Julian {son}, Zarai {son} and Violet {daughter}). And a host of Aunts, Cousins, Clients and Friends!
