A TIME TO BE BORN

Dennis Collier’s journey began on February 20, 1986.  He was born to the union of Margaret Collier and Dell Collier in Chicago, Illinois.  Dennis was the youngest of three children, alongside his brother, Dell Collier and his sister, Marika Collier.

A TIME TO LIVE

Dennis relocated from Chicago, Illinois, to Columbus, Ohio, where his journey continued.  He graduated from Whetstone High School and furthered his education by attending DeVry and several other colleges, where he became certified in computer technology.  Dennis was known as a jack of all trades and was admired for his knowledge and willingness to help others.  Whether it was a computer issue, a car issue, or even a personal matter, Dennis always seemed to have a solution.  He was a person with a bright personality whose presence could light up any room.  Dennis was someone people could look up to for guidance, support, and encouragement.  His wisdom, kindness, and genuine concern for others made a lasting impact on everyone he met.  Dennis had a heart of gold and would go out of his way for family, always and without question.  He was the best brother, uncle, and nephew that anyone could wish for.

A TIME TO LOVE

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Dell Collier; his grandparents, Donniell and Clint Wood, and Dolores Vivian Collier; his uncle, Earnest Windam Sr.; and his aunt, Demetria I. Sardin.  He leaves to cherish his memory his sister; Marika Collier; his brother, Dell Collier; his brother-in-law, Ryan Boykins; his nephews, Chauncey Malachi Collier, Ryan William Boykin Jr., Dell Collier III, and Imeer Collier; his nieces, Rymaria Margaret Boykin and Isis Collier; his uncles, Emmett Windham and Xavier Collier; his aunt, Janet E. Windham; his cousins, Desiree (Justin) Ambrose, Deena Parker, and Delmonaco Sardin; along with his co-workers, friends, and many others whose lives were touched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

A TIME TO DEPART

Dennis flew softly into the arms of God on June 6, 2026 where he “Is Finally Home”.
