Douglass Mitchell age 45 of Columbus, OH was born July 12, 1979 to parents Frank Mitchell and Yolanda Ndiath. Douglass was known to his family and friends as Doug, Rome, Fresh, and Duck but.

In his childhood years until a teenager, Douglass attended the former Mt. Sinai COGIC.

Douglass, a high school graduate also attended West Virginia University where he obtained a degree in Accounting. He also had his HVAC certification. Before his injury, he worked as a sub contractor for his job, driving.

Douglass was the type of person who enjoyed helping others and their children. Douglass had a contagious smile, and he loved to dress in style.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great-grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memories, mother Yolanda (Mamadou) Ndiath, Grandmother Marry Harris, and Theresa Osei dadzie, Aunts Sylvia (Anthony) Madison, Kim Harris, Uncle Pirate Harris, Siblings Ladana Hoskins, Lavette Hoskins, Lyn Hoskins, Minka Summerville, Terror Mitchell, Quintnella Mitchell, Nessa Mitchell, Ean Mitchell, Maleake Mitchell, Terrance Cunningham, Aaron Walker, step son KD Wright, special friend Liela Roberson and children, special sisters Rica Mitchell, Markeashia Mingle, Bennika Mitchell, and a host of other family members.
