Edward Ausborn

Edward C. Ausborn Jr., age 72, of Delaware, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2020. Edward was the youngest of three children. Edward is preceded in death by his father Edward C. Ausborn Sr., and his sister Patricia Dodley.

Edward was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 14, 1947. Edward graduated from South High School class of 1966 and received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming from Columbus State Community College. Edward married Dalis L. Ausborn on July 10, 1999.

Edward worked for Nationwide Insurance for over 10 years and later transitioned to and retired from Worthington Industries. Edward confessed that Jesus Christ was his Lord and savior, he was baptized in Jesus name and was a pending member of New Covenant Believer’s Church. Edward was an avid bowler and was a member of several bowling leagues over the years including leagues at Sequoia Lanes, Capri Lanes and he bowled in Tony Black’s Tournament. Edward learned how to ride a motorcycle later in life and enjoyed being out on the open road. Edward enjoyed listening to Classical Music and listening to News Radio.

Edward is survived by Dalis his devoted wife of over 20 years, his mother Mary Young, his sister Brenda Brown, his daughter’s Angela Ausborn and Annette King, his grandchildren Kendra Herriott, Kiara Herriott, Kaaliyah Tapscott and Darius King, 6 great-grandchildren, two nieces Charlotte Brown and Pam Brown, devoted cousin Clarence Reavling (Diane), along with a host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at White's Chapel.
