Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Bertha, Age 70, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2020 at home with her Angel Babies by her side. Libby was born on January 11, 1950 in Columbus, OH to the late William Thomas and Lucy Frances Bertha.
Libby was retired after 31 years of dedicated service from General Motors/Delphi where she was a Production Control and Logistics Manager. She was a member of the Flames Motorcycle Club where she faithfully served as the Chairperson of the Board until her illness; she was the first female member and the first member to receive 50 years of service. She loved to travel with the club and did so until the grandbabies started multiplying. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Libby stepped in as Auntie Mommy to her nieces and nephews upon the sudden death of her siblings Charles and Janice.
Libby was predeceased by parents William and Lucy Bertha; daughter, Lisa Ann Bertha; brothers, Wayne L. Corner and Charles R. Corner, Jr.; sister, Janice L. Durr; brother in law Marvynne D. Durr; and devoted friend, Farris L. Roach, Sr.
Libby leaves to cherish her memories daughters; Tonya J (Nicholas) Wade, Patricia L Roach, and caregiver Michelle Y Roach; (4) Grandsons; Jeremy (Jamila) Wade, Jermaine (Kianna) Wade, caregiver Rozelle A Butler, and Antoine L French; (3) Granddaughters; Rayshell A Butler, Nichole S Wade and caregiver Jacquelynn E Ferguson; (8) great grandchildren; Jaliyah, Jordyn Elizabeth, Jayden, Jaxon, and Nichaela Anneyce Wade, Kyree and Kenyon Isles, and Elijah Anthony Butler; sister/best friend, Betty J Burr; Godbrother, Samuel “Moose” Newsome of Nashville, TN; Bonus daughters, Jennifer L. Anderson and Sheree (Howard) Bates; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends especially her extended family at the Columbus, Cincinnati and Zanesville Flames MCC.
