Ernestine Pritchet

Ernestine Powell Pritchet, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12:34 p.m. She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Fanny Powell, her sister Georgann Powell Callis, and her son Karl Ernest Pritchet.

She attended and graduated from East High School in the 1950’s and met and married Charles William Pritchet in 1960.  In this union they had 3 children, Karl, Karen, and Karla Pritchet.  Ernestine became an active member of the Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith in the mid 1970’s.  She was a member of the senior and women’s choir and enjoyed fellowship until she moved to New Jersey to help take care of her parents in 1984. She loved God above all else and her family.

Survived by her daughters Karen D. Calloway, Karla T. Webb and stepdaughter Adrienne (William) Stevenson. Her granddaughters Kherri N. cooper, Karmyn D. Calloway and Keiana J. Calloway; grandsons Kyle L. Webb, Kriston J. Webb and Kameron J. Calloway; four great grandchildren, Khaden, Kelani, Kaleiah and Khaleb. She is also survived by her extended children William webb,, Michael Adams, James (Toyia) Love and Eric Merrill as well as her best and dearest friend, Jakki Dillard of Phoenix, AZ and her closest “sister” cousin, Jeanette Marable of New Jersey, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
