Calling Hours (only 10 at a time), Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Private Family Service (50 maximum) at 3:00 p.m., tickets are required for entry. Services will be live streamed. The family will receive flowers at the funeral home.
Janice E. Williams was born February 10, 1953 at OSU Hospital and departed this life January 20, 2021 at OSU Hospital.
Janice graduated from Central High School in 1970 with honors of distinction and a four year scholarship. She attended Capital University where she studied biology. She attended Columbus State and earned a degree in Nursing on September 12, 1980. She attended Realtor Business College for Real Estate and Attorney at Law College where she studied Law. Janice was employed at Orient State Prison as a counselor for 25 years.
Janice was baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost. She was called to preach in 1991 as an Evangelist. She loved serving God and doing His will. She loved nursing, family, people, and her dogs. Janice was a seamstress, cake decorator and artist. She was always willing to do whatever her hands found to do. She put her all in what she did. Her laughter will always be remembered. She showed love and compassion to everyone. She was loved by all the lives she touched. Her co-workers esteemed her very highly and still called her after she retired, to help and tell them what to do and how to do. She had been the head nurse over the nursing department before retiring.
Janice went the extra mile to get the job done. She was a very special nurse and performed with excellence and professional skills.
Janice is survived by her mother, Evangelist dr. Janice Foster, two brothers, Evangelist Keith B. Williams, Attorney At Law, Brett T. Williams Esq, one sister Gayle, nephews Deion (Vanessa), Robert Jr., Jody, Darion, Beneniah, nieces Kimberly (Aaron), Kenya, Brettina, Tazon, Mariah; one aunt, Gwen Williams, who was special and like a mother to her; two uncles, Robert Sr., and Larry; and a special cousin, Karan. Janice had a special sister and friend in Christ, that was very dear to her, Evangelist Linda Hairston-Smith. She also leaves other relatives and friends.
Janice is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Sr. and Helen Williams; two aunts, Anita and Mary; and one uncle, Herbert; Father Franklin; nephew Keith and sister-in-law Tamara.
