With deep love and profound sorrow, the family of Marie L. Stevens announces her peaceful transition from this life on September 14, 2025, at the age of 76.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved parents Calvin and Gladys Thomas; her devoted husband Frank H. Stevens; her cherished son Dwayne Stevens, Sr.; and her siblings Calvin Thomas, Eddie Thomas, and Carol Lynn.

She leaves to honor and celebrate her memory, her children Anthony (Elizabeth) Stevens, Fred (Tiffany) Thomas, and Tarina (Louis) Stevens-Brown. Her legacy continues through her loving brothers Larry W. Thomas, Willie Thomas, and Terry Nevius, along with her special sister Gladys Thomas. Marie was blessed to be the proud grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 9, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Marie treasured her friendships, and her lifelong special friend Barbara Clark will hold close the many years of love, laughter, and fellowship they shared.

Marie lived a life marked by strength, grace, and compassion. She loved her family unconditionally, supported them faithfully, and served as an example of devotion and kindness to everyone she encountered. She retired after 30 years of dedicated service at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she was respected for her work and admired for her spirit.

Above all, Marie was a woman of faith. She prayed with anyone in need, offered words of encouragement, and consistently pointed others toward the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ. Her presence was a light that brightened every space, and though she will be dearly missed, her love and faith will remain forever in our hearts.
