Faye Walls

Calling Hours (only 10 at a time), Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at White's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will not be present during calling hours and masks are required. Private Family Service (50 maximum) at 11:15 a.m. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates. The family will receive flowers at the funeral home.

Faye Yvonne Walls, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.  Faye was born on November 19, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Henry and Lelia Young.

Faye graduated from East High School and was a lifelong active member of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith currently located at 1200 Brentnell Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Her dedicated service to God and the church began when the church was located on Washington and Donaldson under the pastorate of the late Bishop Karl F. Smith. She also served the church faithfully under former pastors Eld. Ernest Hardy and Dr. Eugene Lundy. Faye was also a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. 

Some of the various church activities she was involved in include: member of pastoral staff, church wedding coordinator, cook and kitchen coordinator, daycare staff, summer camp, vacation bible school, Christian Jewels, and choir member in several choirs. Faye had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.

Following the Lord's leading, a few years ago, Faye became an active member at Zion Christian Assembly under the late Bishop William Polley and current Pastor Gerald  Collins.  At Zion, she was active as a sunday school teacher and kitchen staff worker.

Faye loved to travel especially with her special traveling buddies, Phyllis Jones, Imogene King, and Martha Prillerman.  Faye never knew a stranger and was everyone's favorite "Auntie Faye."

Faye leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 63 years Victor L. Walls Sr., Sons; Victor (Tonya) Walls Jr, Michael (Caswella) Walls. Daughter; Michelle Walls. Sisters; Lynne Gullick, Joyce Thompson, Paula Webb all of Columbus, Ohio. Sister-in-law Carolyn Price, Brother-in-law Elmer (Kay) Walls; Grandchildren; Amber Walls, Victor Walls III, Janice Walls, Jada Walls. Great Grandchildren; McKenzie Davis, Izaiah Walls, Amir Walls along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Faye will be dearly missed but we know she is resting in the arms of Jesus!
