Hattie Mae Walls

Calling Hours (only 10 at a time), Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Private Family Service (50 maximum) at 11:15 a.m., tickets are required for entry. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Services will be live streamed. The family will receive flowers at the funeral home.

Hattie M. Walls was born on March 27, 1930 to Will and Laura Crenshaw in Fort Deposit, Alabama. Hattie got her wings on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her residence.

Hattie came to Columbus, Ohio at a young age. She joined Trinity Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. She attended Columbus Public Schools. Hattie was employed by the Ohio State School for the Blind. Hattie had many hobbies, but she also loved spending time with family and friends.

Hattie is preceded in death by her parents Will and Laura Crenshaw; son Hubert Walls; brothers Willie and David Crenshaw; sisters Bessie Williamson and Ella Ruth; grandson Christopher Michael Walls; and former husband Hubert Walls, Sr.

Hattie leaves to cherish her memory a faithful and loving daughter Cherl (Odell) Clark; son Mark (Crystal) walls; five sisters Reba Thrweatt, Jewel Thornhill, Lillie Crenshaw of Columbus, Ohio, Nancy (Melvin) Harris, Betty (Franklin) Berry of NY; grandchildren Dave Clark, Chala Solomon and Dale (Ashley) Clark, Marcus and Nicolous Walls; nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
