Henry L. Green, III

Henry L. Green III was born November 23, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Henry and Ethel Green. HE went home to be with the Lord February 17, 2020 at the age of 73.

Henry Green III attended High School at East High. Henry went on to enlist in the US Navy where he served four years. Henry then worked at General Motors for several years. He left General Motors to work for CSX Railroad where he went from conductor to be a locomotive engineer and retired 32 years of service. He also enjoyed his family and friends. Henry was a wonderful husband and father. He also loved his mother, father, sisters and brothers.

Henry Green III is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Green II, mother Ethel Jones, siblings Donald Green, Darnella Fambro, Charles Fambro, Leonard Green and stepparents Ruby Green and Harold Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Mary Ann Green; sons Henry Green II, Harold Lee Green; daughters Pamela (Carl) Tinsley, Suzanne Green Saunders; granddaughter Ashley (Miron) Loing and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Genetta Stroud, Beverly Steward, Francine (Dinnis) Stewart, Darlene Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am at Shiloh Baptist Church,720 Mt Vernon Ave, Columbus, OH 43203. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
