Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227. Interment: Eastlawn Cemetery.

James Henry Johnson was born to the late Lillie Grace and Andrew Johnson on February 6, 1947, in Monticello, Georgia. On February 12, 2024, James exchanged this life for eternity.  He was preceded in death by Sons, James Johnson, Reginald Johnson and Rodricus Roebuck. Brothers Willie J. Vinson, Paul Clark, Ashy Thurman, Andrew Johnson, Franklin Johnson and Walken Lee Bell; two Sister in Laws, Vivian Johnson and Norma Jean Johnson.

James moved to Fort Myers, Florida in the 60’s, where he lived his childhood and then moved to Columbus, Ohio in the 80’s,  where he lived out his 77 wonderful years.  He loved being at home, which was his comfort place.  He cherished the visits from his children, grandchildren, other family members and friends.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to four children;  KathyAnn Johnson, Undream Johnson, James(Nadia) Johnson Jr. and Tawana(James) Brantley; ten grandchildren, Sade Satters, Laksha Cody, Champ Lewie, Alexus Jewett, Natrell B. Johnson, Nalyla D. Johnson, Rodnique Roebuck, Rodriqua Roebuck and; five great-grandchildren; six siblings, Emma (Crawford) Dennis, Freddy Johnson, Eugene Johnson, Debra (James) Goolsby, Diane (Nathaniel) White, Charliel Whiting and; Sister-Law Maxine Clark and Vonda Roebuck;  and  host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
