Juliet Nicole Smith, known as “Julie”, was born February 18, 1969 to Rosemary Pruitt (Smith) and James A. Smith, Sr. at St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School where she participated on the Drill Team. After several years of hard work, she furthered her education by obtaining her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from Franklin University.
She enjoyed volunteering at her children’s school in Reynoldsburg. Her most recent pride and joy was teaching English to Chinese students. In spite of her many illnesses, she persevered.
Puzzles, playing games, watching movies, going out to eat, and anything made by Apple brought joy to her heart. She was a true gamer at heart. Let her tell it, her middle name was “fun”. Spending quality time with her family was dear to her. She was a culinary genius, so she thought, and was known for her pepper steak and rice. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.
You best believe, prior to making a purchase, you would get the absolute best deal, because of her extensive research. We will miss her contagious smile, her laugh, and her goofiness. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Although she has moved on to the next life, her positive spirit lives on within us.
She is survived by devoted parents, Rosemary Pruitt, and James A. Smith, Sr., and loving children, LaVante Brown, Larenz Brown, and Jazmyn Brown; brother, James A. Smith, II (Sophia), (Apollo Beach, Florida); nieces and nephews, Quynn Smith, Enonn Smith, James A. Smith, III and Jayla Smith, and a host of other relatives and friends.
