Justin T. A. Battle

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church at 461 St. Clair Avenue Columbus, OH 43203. Interment: Glen Rest Memorial Estates. 

Justin Tyler Adrine Battle was born on September 5th, 1987 in Gaithersburg MD. to Dr. Willie and Yvonne Battle. Justin departed this life unexpectedly and transitioned to his eternal home  Wednesday August 30th 2023. 

Justin was baptized at an early age and was involved in church activities most of his life. He was a product  of Columbus Public Schools until moving to North Carolina to become a graduate of

Smithfield-Selma High School in 2005. Justin attended Elizabeth City University and Heritage College were he graduated. He received various music awards in high school. He was an accomplished musician, writing, crafting, and performing.

Justin was employed by Domino's Pizza Franchise for over six years where he has managed over three different stores.

Justin known as "Juston" to his friends and "Baby Jay" to his family loved and enjoyed life. He was a friend to many giving and showing love to those around him. To the new acquiescence that did not know him will soon know of him. You will know of his unselfish kindness of giving a second chance of life to others who are in need.  He is still giving and showing love even after his death.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev Harvey and Hattie Downs; Arthur and Ocie Battle; his uncles Arthur Battle, and Phillip Robertson Sr.; his aunts, Sharon Robertson and Dorothy Guin; cousins, Quincy Battle, Phillip Robertson Jr. Erica Robertson, Briana Robertson. Elizabeth Robertson-Ruthland, Tim Meyers, Glen Guin, and Demetrius Guin.

He is survived by his parents Reverend Dr. Willie and Yvonne Battle; sister Heather (Ron) Battle; niece Li'Kai Lawrence; nephew, Carter Battle; close friends Jessica and Asher Savage; uncles, Larry Battle, Walter Downs, Harvey Downs; aunts Ernestine Battle, Dorothy Battle; a host of many loving family members and many friends.
