Family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 12:30 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227.

Karen Jeanette Young was born on February 2, 1960. From a young age, Karen was ambitious. She loved to laugh and there was nothing she could not do. The Columbus Division of Police employed her for over 25 years when she retired. She was involved with the national wheelchair games at the Ohio State University.

She was preceded in death by grandmother- Ella Louise Payne, Grandfather- William G Young, Clifford Payne, Mother-Coleen J. Young, Her Beloved Brother Eric M. Young Sr.

She is survived by Oldest Brother- Andrew T. (Roxane) Payne/Young , Kay’San Payne, Wesley Payne, Ziann Payne, Sister- Karla L. Young, Shaquille Young, Ra’Shawn Young.

She always had a special place in her heart for her nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. 

She was our true Olympian and will be truly missed.
