On August 31st Kathleen T. Rush heard God say Well done thy good and faithful servant you can take your rest. Kathleen was born in Ragland Alabama to Mac Thomas and W. Frances Jackson on March 18th, 1935, she was the eldest of 9 siblings. Kathleen worked for many years in service for the US Government in various positions throughout her career. Kathleeen gave her life to Christ at an early age, and her faith was unshakable throughout the years. Kathleen enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. Kathleen was a member of the Eastern Stars. Kathleen was known for her quick wit and her no holds back tongue, you knew not to ask her a question if you did not want an honest blunt answer (She Said what she said....and meant it) Kathleen was proceeded in death by her mother and father, her husband Walter E Rush Jr, siblings Joe Jackson, Yvonne Jackson, Ruth Ann Marshall, John Jackson Jr., Daisy Jackson. Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Karen Tyler and Janine Tyler, Stepdaughters LeTecia Cunningham Cincinnati, Ohio, Sheila Rush Gaines, Step Son Walter E Rush III, Sister Lillian Henson Akron, Ohio, Brothers Irvin (Linda) Jackson and Melvin (Amanda) Jackson, 23 Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin's and family members who miss her , But she will live on within all of our hearts. As a Family we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge and show our gratitude to her granddaughter Seychelle J Tyler who was her caregiver, advocate, and her protector to the very end. 2 Timothy 4:7-8: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearance".
