Kenneth Nelson, Jr. was born on February 15, 1972.  On June 27th, 2021 the Lord released Kenneth from his pain and suffering and called him home to live in Joy Unspeakable Joy!  He was surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth accepted the Lord at an early age at Springhill Baptish Church in Columbus, Ohio.  He attended Linden McKinley High School.

He enjoyed watching sporting events and loved spending quality time with his entire family whether it was assisting his brother-in-law Tracy with frying fish or helping Arthur on the grill.  A family cook-out was always the highlight of his day. One of his favorite past-times was the art of playing card games; I.e Tonk and especially Spades.  He loved his dog, Nore and referred to him as his “Sidekick”.  Kenneth was not materialistic but he enjoyed his vehicles and named them Big Stepper and Bucket List.

Kenneth recognized that he was a walking testament of God's grace and unmerited favor and even though he endured many valleys in his life he knew God was always with him to bring him through each and every one.  He displayed a spirit of kindheartedness towards all people by always taking  the time to help those in need no matter who they were or where they were.

Kenneth and Karmen Marie Robinson were joined together in holy matrimony on August 11th 2018 in a lavish ceremony witnessed by dozens of friends and family members.  That day was an extra special day for Kenneth and the happiness shone all over his face as he and Karmen became Mr. and Mrs. Nelson.

Kenneth was lovingly known to his friends and family as “Mann” and anyone who knew him also knew the infectious love and passion he had for his family.   He never missed a day calling to “check-in” on his loving mother.  Also, he and his beloved sister Karla shared a special bond in which they always, always, always watched out for each other.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Nelson Sr. , Grandmother Hilda Nelson, and Grandfather James Nelson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted loving wife Karmen;  grandmother: Corene Robinson; Mother: Brenda (Arthur); Sister: Karla (Tracy); Son: Da'Quantae; Granddaughter: Naomi;  Bonus Children: Darius, Devin, Dionmi, and Ashardre; Bonus Grandchildren: Daiyla, Dellvon, Dionmi, and Iverson; Nephew: Terrence; Aunt: Shirley Gamble; Uncles: Gem (Sherrill) Robinson and Melvin (Linda) Nelson; and Best Friend Dwayne Carter as well as a host of family and friends.
