Latoya was a dedicated mother and wife. She kept her home tidy and clean and made sure her children were decked out from their hair to their shoes. She was a great cook and loved to cook her favorite dish, Johnny Marzetti. On July 19, 2013, Latoya become a grandmother to Dashawn Howard (10). Her “number one and only grandson” “and don’t nobody mess with him “whom she deeply loved.  Latoya was known to always lend a helping hand. She truly loved everyone and was very thoughtful in her own way. Latoya would easily accomplish anything she put her mind to. Latoya was a firm believer to always fight for her rights! She would go to war with anyone that she loved and would finish the job if you couldn’t. Latoya was a Queen, Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend & Businesswoman who was devoted to her family (immediate & extended) and did everything in her power to aid her loved ones and friends. Latoya would sacrifice to make sure those that she loved had what they needed. Latoya naturally carried a presence of being a village helper. Everyone in her community was referred to as sis, brother, auntie, or a few she even called Mom. Latoya loved to look nice, smell good, dance, and go out to eat. She had a passion for and was light and laughter of any & every event. Latoya was preceded in death by her daughter Aaliyah Ince (24), Grandmother and Grandfather Helen and Benjiman Harris father, Aunt and Uncle Peggy Howard Boyd, Aunt and Uncle Deloris Herman Hackett, Cousin Shaun Boyd and a host of other beloved family.  Latoya has left a mark in our hearts that for some will be unbearable. She was truly a one of kind woman. We will never get to experience another person like her in our lifetime. We love you dearly, Latoya.

God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, So, He put His Arms around her and whispered, "Come with Me." With tearful eyes we watched her suffer, and saw her slowly fade away, although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden fighting heart stopped beating, hardworking hands, and beautiful smile put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
