Laura Ann Gwynn

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at White's Chapel. Interment: Caldwell Cemetery. Service will be livestream at 11:00 a.m.

Laura was born in Chillicothe, OH on August 26, 1945. She transitioned peacefully the morning of June 1, 2022 while at home surrounded by her loving daughters. She was a graduate of Eastmoor High School and was employed at Rockwell International before marrying in 1970. She was a fun, attentive and encouraging stay at home mother for 15 years before returning to the workforce. She established herself as the neighborhood’s “second mom”. She was creative and smart. She enjoyed socializing, playing cards & practical jokes as well dancing-especially to James Brown. Above all she loved spending time with her family and helping others. Her dimpled smile, easy laughs and positive personality were infectious. Her presence will be missed by all that knew her.  

She is preceeded in death by her parents Curtis and Dorothy Wyche, her beloved husband, Ronald, of 50 years; and sister Lila Grace. She leaves to cherish her loving memory; her daughters Jackie (Tony) and Debra Jean; sister Pam; brothers Leonard, Steven, David (Deborah) and Roger Wyche; grandchildren  Brandon, Jerron and Jada Reaves, Tony and Destiny. Many other relatives, friends and loved ones, especially her dear friend of over 70 years, Claudia Wood. Special acknowledgements to her brothers Roger and Steven for their ongoing support over the years.
