Lawrence Thomas was born on September 1, 1961, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Dorothy Mae Polk and Leroy Lawrence Thomas Jr. 

A time to live- Lawrence family moved to Ohio in 1964. In Lawrence's younger years, he liked to explore how to take things apart and put them back together. Lawrence attended Columbus City Schools where he received multiple awards for his outstanding performance in football while attending Beechcroft High School where he later graduated in 1980.  Lawrence is known for remodeling homes he used his natural abilities and talent to help create their dreams. Through his work, you saw his dedication. Lawrence completed a good job above which was beyond the customer satisfaction.

Lawrence has three beautiful children. Lawrence loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. His favorite saying was "jive turkey" to the ones he loved. Lawrence loved his sports especially football.

Lawrence is proceeded in death by his parents, Dorothy Mae Thomas and LeRoy Lawrence Thomas; sister Madolyn Lee Thomas.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life Serrena Austin; children Lauren Thomas, Lawrence Allen Thomas, Laurel Thomas-Welch; grandchildren Kairi Thomas-Brooks, Kairin Thomas-Brooks, Kaden Thomas, Kameron Thomas, Kingston Thomas-Welch, Kane Thomas-Welch, Keira Thomas-Welch; siblings, Vivian King, Gwendolyn Thomas, Mary Turner, Leonard (Iris) Thomas, Norma Jean (Thomas) Ferguson, Cassandra Rhodes, Dianthia Mills and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
