Lorraine Thomas, 87, peacefully departed this life on November 28, 2025, at Mount Carmel St Anns Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Lorraine was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 12, 1938. She attended High School in East Palestine, Ohio and upon graduation she furthered her education at Central State University obtaining her degree in Social Work.

After briefly living in Long Island, New York and Compton, California she settled in Columbus, Ohio where she raised her family. Lorraine married Hiram Thomas and that reunion produced one son, Hiram Jr. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Ruby Copeland and Arthur Harvey, her husband (Hiram Thomas Sr.), her son (Hiram Jr.), a sister Barbara Lewis and a brother Stanley Harvey.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a sister Charlotte (Rodney) Walker, 3 brothers Alfred (Ellen) Copeland, Hank (Toni) Copeland, Wilbert (Yvonne) Copeland, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Lorraine will be sadly missed. However, we are happy she is now rejoicing with her Heavenly Family and resting in the Loving Arms of our LORD. Amen!
