Macel A. Weaver was born on May 10, 1939 in St. Albans, West Virginia and departed this life at 80 years of age on March 16, 2020.
Macel, affectionately known as “Macey” was born to the late Dannie Mae Weaver, raised in West Virginia and moved to Columbus, Ohio with her family in 1970. You could often find Macy sitting in her favorite chair quietly humming a song or tapping her foot. She would greet those she loved with the tightest hug or soft yet firm squeeze of the hand. She loved listening to music, watching gameshows or cooking shows on television and having a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
Macel is preceded in death by her mother Dannie Mae Weaver. She is survived by her twin sister Mabel Weaver and baby sister Portia Pankey; nieces Starlet Robertson (Hersey), Debra Richardson, Terry Weaver, Celestine Pankey, Anita Pankey, Mia (Marwan) Miller and nephews; Darrell Weaver, Anthony (Susie) Pankey and Joseph Pankey. She has 47 great- nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and special friends.
