Maggie Adams, 86, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2025. Born on November 7, 1938, to the late Noble Ray and Clara Meaux. Maggie accepted Christ in 1995. She retired from the post office after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Adams; her sons Vernon and Stanley McElroy; brothers George Burton and Bill Ray; sisters Liz Brue and Nora Bivens; and her parents.
Maggie leaves to cherish her memory her devoted sons Vincent (Tonia) McElroy, Virgil (Wylena) McElroy, and Guy (Erica) Adams; her loving grandchildren Dawnyale Peeks, Virgil (Gabriella) Phipps, Vernon (Sara) McElroy, Micheal (Abbi) McElroy, Monica (Victor) Peeks, Lauren (Nathan) Saunders, Derrick (Summer) Williams, Jenee (Viwe) Mandondo and Mia McElroy along with a host of great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Maggie was an extraordinary woman, strong, loving, and full of life. She found joy in cooking for her family, telling captivating stories, and trying her luck with scratch-offs. She was known for speaking her mind and telling her truth, always with love and wisdom.

Her legacy is one of faith, resilience, and unconditional love. She will be remembered as a woman who stood firmly in her beliefs, loved fiercely, and left a lasting mark on everyone blessed to know her.
