Marico Ramone Curry Talley, affectionally called Co, 40, passed away on Monday, August 26th, 2024. His journey began on October 19th, 1983. He was the oldest son of Raymel Lavonia Talley and the late James Pearson Talley, Sr.
Marico loved his family more than anything. He was known for his warmth & humor. He had an extraordinary ability to light up any room with his smile and was always prepared with a joke to uplift those around him. He definitely made an impact. To know Marico was to love him. He attended Columbus Public Schools. He was a certified electrician and contracted as a cable installer. He could build just about anything as he was extremely talented with his hands. He was also an excellent cook and was a jack of all trades. If you needed something done, he would get it done.
Besides his father, Marico was preceded in death by his son Jaylen Talley, his grandmothers, Melvena Curry and Myrtle Talley, sisters, Linda Butler and Chiquita Talley, and brother, Pearson Talley Jr.
Marico was a very loving and caring father to his children that will cherish his memory, daughters, Jada Talley and Laileona Sydor, sons Marico Talley, Jr and Keon Talley. He also leaves behind his grandson, Cyae Amari Talley, his mother Raymel Lavonia Talley, siblings, Tia Talley, Tondelea Talley, Monty Talley, Royal Talley, Michael Owens, Vernita Talley, Myretta Talley-Drane, Leviticus Ingram, Latee, Royal, Angela Drew and Arron Drew, Stepmother, Marilyn Talley and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The memories of Marico’s life and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He got his wings and will forever be with us. Marico’s legacy of love, joy, and laughter will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who were privileged to know him.
