Marvin Calloway

Family will receive friends Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at White's Chapel. Interment Evergreen Burial Park. Livestream will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Marvin Ray Calloway, affectionately known as DC/Pinky was born May 31, 1966 to Roseann and Marvin Calloway, and departed this life April 8, 2022. Marvin was loving, funny, loved to dance and cook. He was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. Marvin attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from East High School.

He worked for Division One as a heavy equipment operator. Marvin relocated to Fort Pierce, Florida where he became a Deacon and met his wife of 13 years.

Marvin is predeceased by his father Marvin Calloway, his paternal and maternal grandparents and his son Reggie Weatherly. 

Marvin is mourned by his wife Marvalyn Calloway; his mother Roseann Calloway; his daughter Rodrique’a (Rita) Williams, son Byron Smith; granddaughters Zy’iona Washington and Taydom Weatherly; brothers Nathan (Saquana) Calloway, Eldridge Calloway, Mark (Carolyn) Calloway, Otis (Katie) Calloway; sisters Marla Calloway, Toni (Stacey) Armor, Myra Calloway, Nikki (Demetrius) Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, and step children.
