Mary L Vinson,  aged 66, born in Columbus, Ohio,  November 30th, 1957 at The Ohio State University Hospital made her heavenly transition surrounded by her loving family on December 17th, 2024. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend whose warmth, kindness and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Thomas Vinson; her cherished daughter, Vittoria Jimerson-Overmeyer (Jason), brothers, Tommy/William Boffman Jr. (Alberta); Steve/Joseph Steven Boffman, sister Teri/Teresa Ragland; niece, Amber Williams; and nephew, Travis Boffman,  cousin; Elder Nita Gober,  friend Lucrecia Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Theresa Ragland and father William Boffman Sr.

Mary retired from the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) in 2011 after many years of dedicated service. However, retirement did not slow her down. In addition to a successful catering career and numerous business ventures, Mary found joy in giving back to her community, cooking,  hosting family get-togethers and spending time with her beloved puppy Layla. She volunteered for a local toy drive and made it her mission to ensure that every child she met had a memorable holiday. Her generosity, love, and support for her family and friends were hallmarks of who Mary was and she will be remembered for her deep compassion and commitment to others.

Mary’s family and friends meant the world to her, and her spirit of love, humor, compassion, and generosity will live on in them and her legacy will endure in the hearts of those she touched.
